Mike was a native of Bollingary, County Limrick. He had two brothers, John & Jerry, and a sister Mary.
He immigrated to Boston, but moved to Chicago about 1861. He was a butcher by trade.
Ellen was a native of County Cork and one of six girls.
They had 34 grand children, 54 great grand children and 130 great-great grand children.
